I'm currently based in Sri Lanka. Earlier in my career, I spent several years working in Dubai, which helped shape my international perspective.
Most of my experience involves collaborating with global teams, particularly with companies in the US and Australia. I'm well-versed in navigating different time zones and remote workflows to keep projects moving smoothly.
I look at three main pillars to determine if a design is actually working:
User Behavior: I track hard data like retention rates and how often customers return. If people aren't coming back, the UX isn't doing its job.
Direct Feedback: Nothing beats talking to the people actually using the product. I use real user interviews and testing to find out where the friction is.
Business Growth: Ultimately, good design should move the needle. I measure success by how it impacts the bottom line—whether that's increased conversion or higher revenue.
Yes, as a force multiplier. I use it to brainstorm early ideas, generate rapid mockups, and speed up turnaround times.
However, AI is only as good as the person steering it. It amplifies my existing expertise but can't replace the strategic thinking or complex problem-solving required to build a real product.
I prefer full-time roles but remain flexible depending on the project and timeline.
I've worked remotely long before it was standard, so I'm highly efficient in distributed teams. That said, I value the high-bandwidth collaboration of in-person work and welcome the opportunity whenever it's feasible.
